This report summarises the 2010 evaluation of the Partnership Improvement Programme (PIP) and the influence it has had on cross-sector partnership working across five English regions. It outlines the findings from a survey evaluating the experiences of participants across 17 PIP areas. It also takes an in-depth look at the added value that PIP had in six local authority areas. Finally, the report examines some of the wider learning to emerge from the evaluation and some considerations for future partnership improvement work.
