Key findings from the Partnership Improvement Programme

This is a summary report of year one (2007-2008) of the Partnership Improvement Programme (PIP), which was concerned with cross-sector collaboration between local authorities and third sector organisations. The report introduces the programme, summarises the findings, discusses the challenges and obstacles for cross-sector collaboration and presents feedback from the programme participants.

The PIP was a joint initiative between Improvement and Development Agency (now called Local Government Association) and IVAR.
