The voluntary and public sectors are awash with talk of ‘systems change’ and ‘complexity’, with people working across organisational and sectoral boundaries to tackle complex challenges. Whatever you call this line of work (‘collaborative working’, ‘systems change’ etc.), it can be unfamiliar and daunting as it requires a dramatic shift in mindset and a new set of behaviours.
