Sad news about Jane Hatfield

We have received some very sad news – our inspiring and wonderful Chair, Jane Hatfield, has died from ovarian cancer.  She died at home surrounded by her family.

Jane lived her life with gusto and style, principle and passion, combining a fierce intellect with wit and irreverence. Her contribution to IVAR, as a Trustee since 2006 and Chair from February 2015 – and as an advocate, champion and challenger – is immense. We use the present tense because her influence in what we do and who we are is current, now and forever.

Our thoughts are with Jane’s wife Gali, their children, Saul and Alma, and everyone that knew and loved her.
