Houda is a researcher and facilitator with fifteen years’ experience leading complex projects across the voluntary, funding and public sectors.
Previous work:
Houda has worked with organisations including NHS England, East Sussex County Council and The National Lottery Community Fund on research, evaluation, strategy development and learning partnerships.
Houda has a deep belief in the power of collaboration, and one her favourite parts of her role is designing learning spaces that bring people together, to tackle important questions that matter to them. Houda is also passionate about using research to amplify the voices of service users and communities. She has a particular interest in supporting community/peer researchers to carry out their own projects, including One Southwark young people, CPAR (Community Participatory Action Research programme) and most recently through the Co-op Future Communities Fund. Houda holds a Master’s in Environment, Development and Policy from the University of Sussex.
Other interests:
Houda’s happy place is anywhere amongst plants, and when not looking after her two young children, she can be found in her garden sowing, weeding, pruning and inviting in as much wildlife in as possible.
