Rebecca Moran
Rebecca is Research Officer at IVAR and is a newly qualified, first class post-graduate in Social Research Methods from The University of Nottingham. Before this, Rebecca was a first-class graduate in Sociology and Social Policy. Prior to joining IVAR, she worked as a Policy Researcher in a large UK-based children’s charity, focusing on issues around youth justice, child poverty and mental health. Rebecca has experience in a range of qualitative research methods including focus groups, interviews and evaluations. At University, she was project leader of a voluntary research group who carried out work on behalf of local community centres, one of which led to the re-opening of a community gym; she also volunteered for a local training and employment organisation. Rebecca is leading IVAR's research for the Big Lottery Fund as well as developing a new project on the governance of small, community-based organisations.
