Having worked at the state television in Sarajevo as a film translator, and during the war in the former Yugoslavia as a UN interpreter, Selena turned to web design in a Berlin multimedia company Cityscope. Since 2000 she has worked in administration/research at Aston University, Birmingham. Selena joined ACVAR in 2003, managing research administrative systems, publications, website development and quantitative analysis. She currently works as a Research Administrator at the Centre for Higher Education Learning and Management at Aston Business School.
