On 12th November 2009, the Institute for Voluntary Action Research (IVAR) and the Centre for Charitable Giving and Philanthropy (CGAP) hosted a Capacity Building Roundtable. The aim of the event was to discuss ‘next steps for the funding and delivery of capacity building’.

The starting point for the event was a shared concern within both CGAP and IVAR about the concept and practice capacity building.
