The Federation of City Farms and Community Gardens - research participant
IVAR worked with The Federation of City Farms and Community Gardens as part of the ongoing work funded by The Tudor Trust.
The IVAR review assisted the Board of Trustees of FCFCG to focus on strategic decision-making. There was particular focus on the values and organisational principles of the charity as well as the current challenges around the leadership and role of the organisation more generally. The review also covered the services delivered to its members and non-members and looked at developing and strengthening the Board.
This work led in part to a review of the Memorandum and Articles of Association. A further meeting to assess the impact of the review took place in March 2010, and the FCFCG Board will continue to discuss progress at future strategic review meetings.
